Armchair

An armchair trades density for dwell. Arms add 8 to 12 cm of width per seat and usually stop the frame tucking fully under the table, so armchairs earn their space at feature tables, window positions and rooms where guests stay for a full meal rather than a quick turn.

This range covers wooden and aluminium framed armchairs for indoor and terrace use, upholstered in contract fabric, vinyl or leather. The detail worth confirming before you order is arm height against your table apron: arms at 65 cm meeting an apron at 63 cm is the most common specification collision in the trade, and it is invisible until both deliveries arrive.

Seat heights, arm heights and widths can all be adjusted. Where armrests belong in a mixed room is set out in our guide to the types of restaurant chairs.
